A physical Tank with passive Provoke is more than enough to soak both the ST attacks and the DoT if properly geared.Imperil is only done by the Paper Onis, which become a non-issue if killed on the turn they are summoned. It's advisable to bring Fire resistance on the whole party to counter both magic damage and the DoT.Fighting Tsukumogami directly is doable, but very hard and extensive due to its very high defenses and massive HP.On ELT, 7k HP and 300 DEF/SPR will be more than enough to survive the Youkai Lantern's initial Melting Candle. Their pre-emptive attacks, however, are far weaker.
